Max Petrunya   |      Principal 

Max Petrunya has practiced law in Pennsylvania and West Virginia for the last 10 years. After graduating from Villanova University in 2007, Max attended Duquesne University School of Law where he graduated with the highest honors in 2010.

While in law school, Max participated in the Duquesne University Mock Trial Program where he represented the law school in National Trial Competitions across the country. Max competed in the AAJ Mock Trial National Finals in New Orleans in 2010.

Following his graduation, Max worked for 9 years for Robert Peirce & Associates, P.C. and dedicated his practice to helping individuals in personal injury cases. Through his work at Peirce Law, Max represented hundreds of clients who were the victim of nursing home abuse, medical malpractice, car and trucking accidents, toxic torts, pharmaceutical and device injuries, wrongful denial of long term disability benefits, and civil rights litigation.

As an active trial lawyer, Max has dedicated the majority of his practice to litigation and helping injured individuals. Through his extensive trial and litigation experience, Max was chosen for admission to the prestigious Allegheny County Academy of Trial Lawyers. At just 31 years old, Max became the youngest attorney ever selected for inclusion in the members-only trial lawyers organization which is limited to just 250 members of the bar in Western Pennsylvania.Since 2014,

 

Max Petrunya has been voted as a "Rising Star" in the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers rankings - an honor awarded 2.5 percent of practicing attorneys under the age of 40 in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

Max Petrunya began his practice in 2019 to continue to help individuals who in need of assistance during serious, and sometimes fatal, events in their lives. Max Petrunya, P.C. aims to help individuals in personal injury matters, along with assisting with Wills, Estates, and Powers of Attorney.

Max Petrunya also serves as in-house counsel for Four Chord Music, a local record label and event production company. Max has assisted in the negotiation and creation of numerous documents for Four Chord Music and has assisted Four Chord Music organize the yearly Four Chord Music Festival in Pittsburgh.

Outside of his practice, Max serves on the Board of Directors for One Day to Remember. One Day to Remember is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping families with a parent with a life-limiting illness enjoy a one day cost-free, worry-free outing.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Max currently resides in Shadyside. Max enjoys helping individuals inside and outside of his practice and is always happy to meet his clients, or any individuals that may need assistance, at a location and environment where they feel comfortable.
